FOOD HYGIENENZQA Unit standard 20666 

Demonstrate basic knowledge of contamination hazards and control methods used in a food business provides the basic knowledge and food safety training for anyone working with food in a commercial kitchen. 

Theory: 9am – 1pm  (includes morning tea and lunch breaks)

Learning and course material: We will provide a printed copy on your arrival.  Material purchased through service IQ (Learning material and assessment)

Assessment: 1:30pm – 4 pm (you can leave early once you have finished the assessment)

Please note that the refund policy for this particular course is extended to 10 working days as we are required to order books from Service IQ for each student participating.

Course Fee Subsidy

This course is subsided by Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizens and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. You must provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency, or refugee status to our staff for sighting purposes.

For Non- Resident students there will be a surcharge of NZD$20.

 

On successful completion of the course, please allow for 7-8 weeks before your certificate is processed.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
