Course Description

In this course you will learn the skills required to sew an a-line skirt.

Aimed at new sewists, who have some basic skills, we will use a commercial a-line skirt pattern and learn skills like inserting a zip and a facing to create a skirt to fit you.

This is a great way to learn how to decode pattern envelopes, choose your size and create a simple garment.

What Will You Gain?

This course provides students with the opportunity to practice their sewing skills in a safe, pleasent
environment and learn new skills from a qualified and experienced tutor.

Course Fee Subsidy

This course is subsided by Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizens and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school.
