Profile

Julie-Anne Taylor is a qualified tutor with a Certificate in Deaf Studies from Victoria University. She brings over 15 years of experience working with the Auckland Deaf Society, where she has held a variety of roles.

She has been a member of the New Zealand Sign Language Teachers Association for the past eight years and recently joined the committee of the NZSL Tutors Northern Branch. Julie-Anne has taught NZSL Level 1 and 2 classes and is well known for her engaging and effective teaching style.

For more than five years, she has also delivered Deaf Culture presentations to a wide range of audiences, including community groups, educational institutions, local government agencies, and commercial organisations.

Julie-Anne is highly regarded by her students and consistently receives positive feedback for her depth of knowledge, clear communication, and warm, approachable manner.
