During the 6 hours course you will learn how to cook some of the Korea's most representative foods, such as Bulgogi, Namul, japchae and Jeon.

Bulgogi and Namul dish is Korean marianate beef and seasoned vegetables.

Japchae and Jeon dish is Korean potatoe noodle and pancakes.

These dishes are quite ordinary yet special in Korea, as they are regularly favoured and eaten by Korean people. They are not only found in daily meals but also in various gatherings and celebrations.

The ingredients cost is $45, and it is included in the course fee.

Course Fee Subsidy

This course is subsided by Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizens and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. You must provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency, or refugee status to our staff for sighting purposes.

For Non- Resident students there will be a surcharge of NZD$20.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
