Join mosaic artist Jo Luker and learn to create contemporary and fashionable mosaic art from broken vintage (or modern!)  ceramics, porcelain, glass, beads, and trinkets. This is an inspiring and therapeutic way to spend a weekend playing with all sorts of beautiful but broken vintage china and ceramic pieces. It's also a way to recycle/upcycle broken or unwanted china to create something new.  All materials are provided with an emphasis on recycled and expressive art. Although we provide all materials, you are welcome to bring along some of your own saved broken china if you wish to incorporate this.  Jo will also bring glass and tiles to complement the ceramics in your work. 

Who should attend?

Adults, suitable for beginners or those with a little experience of mosaic art wanting to explore a different vibe. Mosaic may also appeal to crafters or artists looking for a new form of expression, or for a group of friends looking for a fun activity to do together.
