Come make a botanical face cream just right for YOUR skin!

Learn to make your own beautiful botanical face cream. Using only natural ingredients, such as floral hydrosols, gentle, nourishing oils, botanical extracts and essential oils, your cream can be tailored to suit your skin’s particular needs.
We will talk about how to address issues like ageing skin, dehydrated and sensitive skin, uneven skin tone, acne and problem skin.

During this course you will learn what emulsions are and how to make and customise your own creams and lotions. You will learn about water-soluble ingredients, such as hydrosols and floral waters. As well as oil-soluble ingredients, such as oils, butters, and essential oils.
We will look at the power of essential oils and how to incorporate them into your skin care products. You will find out why preservatives are necessary and you will learn how they work and about natural preservatives.

Each participant will make 100 grams of botanical face cream, tailored to their own needs and preferences.
The cream is 100% natural, made from botanical, plant derived ingredients. You will be able to choose from a selection of ingredients, including different hydrosols, such as rose hydrosol, lavender hydrosol, chamomile hydrosol, just to name a few.
There will be many different natural oils, including, but not limited to sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, nourishing avocado oil, jojoba oil, evening primrose oil, rosehip oil, and nourishing butters, like shea butter and cocoa butter.
A large selection of natural botanical extracts and essential oils to address specific needs and preferences, will let you customise your botanical face cream.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
