English Level 3 ( Pre-intermediate Level) and Level 4 (Intermediate Level).

Course Description

This course is designed to help non-native English speakers feel confident in job interviews. Improve your job application skills through better English and CV writing. This workshop will focus on writing cover letters, CVs, speaking, and interviewing skills.

What Will You Gain?

  • Do's and don'ts in NZ job interviews
  • Some common grammar tenses in answering job interview questions
  • Impressive active verbs useful in job interviews.
  • Mock job interview and feedback. 

On the day of the workshop, students are advised to bring their CV which will help your tutor customize the questions for the mock interview. 

Course Fee Subsidy

This course is subsided by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizens and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. You must provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency, or refugee status to our staff for sighting purposes.

The tuition fee is free for NZ Residents / Citizens / Partnership Visa of NZ Residents or Citizens. (A $40 administration fee applies)

The tuition fee is $100 for Work Visa holders or $175 for Non-Residents.

 

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
