Documents produced in a corporate environment typically include formatting requirements that extend the basic skills of most users. The Word for Business course aims to provide this knowledge with the following topics:

  • The use of styles to conform with a company standard and help ensure a consistent layout and appearance
  • Customising document headers and footers to include page and section numbering, a company logo and the document?s creation date, status or author?s name
  • The inclusion of a Table of Contents, Footnotes and Cross References to give documents a professional edge
  • Dynamically linking to Excel tables and charts and/or providing live links to content from the web

The school computers include Word 2016 although attendees may bring their own machines and software along with any Word-related questions they want assistance with.
