Xero has become the go to in Accounting Systems for small business.  This course will give you an Introduction to this system.  Suitable for those looking at Xero, just starting or wanting to get more out of Xero.

This is a Zoom web conference.

Attendees can join this meeting from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

 

Description

Get an overview of Xero and be introduced to the Dashboard concept and how to navigate from it.  Create a Sales invoice with your company logo and use a price list.  Setup a Bank Account, record transactions and reconcile.  Learn how to automate your accounting system and save time with bank rules and the Xero to Xero network.  Reduce your paperwork by sending electronic files to Xero and attaching them to transactions.  Introduction to the Chart of Accounts, Tracking Codes and the Contacts areas and how to use them effectively.  Use shortcuts to get your work done faster.  An Introduction into the Inventory system and Payroll are covered in much more depth in the Next Steps course.  A Certificate of Completion is issued at the end of the course, useful for those who are upskilling or to show potential Employers.

 

This course is subsided by Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizens and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. You must provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency, or refugee status to our staff for sighting purposes.

For Non- Resident students there will be a surcharge of NZD$20.
