Learn the science and the art of growing your own new plants from seeds. You will learn how to collect, store and germinate seeds. How to make your own propagating mixes and plant seeds into them. Learn the special conditions needed by certain seeds to germinate, and how to prick out, transplant and harden off seedlings. The more common plants are discussed especially the vegetable seeds of the season, due to the very wide range of plant types.

Please bring a pair of gardening gloves. Also, bring eye protection and a breathing mask if you are sensitive to dust.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
