Course Description
Talofa lava and greetings to you all. My name is Vaaimamao (Mao) Mauga. I have been the Samoan Beginners Language course facilitator since 2022 and have been enjoying the journey. It is a joy to see students from all walks of life achieve and exceed their goals. The Samoan beginner language class prides itself on a family-orientated environment and encourages students to make mistakes to learn from them. The journey is communal so no one gets left behind. We laugh, we cry, we know, we eat and we support each other in this journey. My job is to ensure that every single student is valued, no matter what level of the Samoan language they are at.
